The Sierra Leone National Airline (the
national carrier) performs on concession basis Ground
and Cargo handling activities on behalf of the Sierra
Leone Airports Authority. The handling capability meets
the requirements for the handling of even a Boeing 747
The services provided by the handling
agent comprise:
Ground Administration and supervision
Load control, messaging and telecommunications
Handling, storage and administration of unit load
device.
Any other supervision service before, during or
after the flight
And any other administrative services requested
by the airport user. Passenger/baggage handling
and processing:
Assistance rendered to arriving, departing, transfer,
or transit passengers
Checking tickets and travel document
Registering, sorting, transporting and loading of
baggage Freight and mail handling, including handling
of related documents
Ramp handling comprises
Marshalling of aircraft
Loading and unloading of the aircraft
Provision of ground power support facilities
Transportation of passengers to and from the aircraft
Cleaning of aircraft cabin
