Expenditure Tracking Survey - Moyamba District A Pilot
Study
In this project, we implemented a Public Expenditure
Tracking Survey on the education sector in Moyamba District.
We did this through the soliciting of information from
schools as to the amount of school fees subsidies received
by schools and the receipt of teaching and learning
materials. Meanwhile, the project manager was responsible
for soliciting official documents from the central government
and the suppliers of these materials as to the amounts
disbursed.

First Series of the National Accountability Dialogue
Forum Series - October 22nd 2004
The First Series of the National Accountability Dialogue
Forum Series was held today at the British High Commission
in Freetown. This quarterly series of public forums
is aimed primarily at the elites of the country within
government and civil society in efforts to discuss and
address accountability issues in various sectors of
government. Prominent speakers are recruited to speak
on various topics, while a lengthy question and answer
session allows a broader dialogue on these important
issues.
