NAG Celebrates International
Anti-corruption day
The National Accountability Group in
partnership with the Anti-Corruption Commission held
a public event to celebrate International Anti-Corruption
Day on Thursday, the 9th of December, 2004. Activities
included a public Symposium on “the Costs of Corruption”
held at the British Council, and a simultaneous Youth
Symposium held at the Institute of Education.
Activities continued on Friday the
10th when the initial draft form of the ACC Prevention
Department’s National Anti-Corruption Strategy
will be officially launched at the British Council,
starting at 10am. Dignitaries included His Excellency
the President, the Honourable Vice President, the UN
Special Representative of the Secretary-General, among
a host of others.
